The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention.”

At Stand To End Rape, we understand that giving back is at the core of humanity. We also know that those who give back don’t do it because they have nothing else to do but are passionate about society. This is why we love to recognize our volunteers, who go above and beyond to fight against sexual violence and actively contribute to our initiative’s day-to-day running.

This month, we would like to recognize Solape Ajagunna. She is a member of the Communications Department. In getting to know more about her, we asked a few questions:

WHAT/ WHO INSPIRES YOU?

I am inspired mainly by Nigerian feminists and the ideology of equal rights.

WHAT IS YOUR MANTRA?

Put your best foot forward always.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN?

I enjoy watching sitcoms like Big Bang theory and modern family

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR I5-YEAR OLD SELF?

Life isn’t easy, and nothing will be handed to you, work hard and smart.

WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A SAFE NIGERIA?

A safe Nigeria is a place where the life of the everyday person matters.

Thank you, Solape. We appreciate the work you do and the time you put in. Keep up the excellent work!!!
